Jupiter in Pisces Manifests as Red Tara; the Retrograde Reveals Her Rewards!

In meditation today I was visited by Red Tara. She came to show me that she is the embodiment of the energy of Jupiter in Pisces.  Those of you familiar with Tibetan deities may know who I’m referring to, She is but one of the many faces of the female Buddha who came to demonstrate compassion and enlightenment in the realm of suffering and rebirth. Red Tara is associated with the magnetic powers of attraction 🧲 owing her great seductive qualities to not only her youthful beauty but also her incredible wisdom. She is able to overcome all obstacles and bring blessings of abundance, and is especially praised by unlucky lovers who are seeking their soulmates or to put an end to strife in marriage. We see the parallels here to the planetary endowments of Jupiter as the red giant who encapsulates wisdom and luck, and as this body moves through Pisces becomes exalted in the sign of his rulership, taking on the inherent romantic qualities of this sign, boundless in both his compassion and sensual embrace.

Red Tara has many guises and forms, some of which include the fiercer aspects of defensive abilities to ward off evil and, much like Kali, removing the head of egoic illusion and wearing the skulls as a testament to her strength and warning to her demonic foes. It is said anyone who chants her mantra is to remain undefeated in sword fighting!  When Jupiter is in Pisces, the spiritual domain of the natural 12th house, he assists in overcoming the illusions that bind us to the physical realm so that we may see into the far eternity of the cosmos. Pisces is the realm of the spirit, ineffable infinity. And Jupiter is the planetary ruler of expansion from form into formlessness.  It’s auspicious for everyone when Jupiter occupies his home palace here, offering the gifts of spiritual fulfillment, even the opportunity for samadhi, the true tantric Union with all that is existence and nonexistence! (We’ve really been needing this aspect badly if you ask me, since Neptune the Lord of illusion has been playing in the Piscean waters since 2011, stirring up Maya of all kinds.)
Jupiter turns retrograde in Pisces tonight (6.20.21) at 8pm est. We begin this slow back slide into Aquarius, where Jupiter will continue retrograding in that energy on July 28. We’ll be blessed at the end of the year when Jupiter moves forward into Pisces again on December 30.  So how can we best foster our own spiritual expansion and growth through this precious remaining time of Jupiter retrograde in Pisces?
It’s common for people to freak out when retrogrades occur, thinking catastrophically, but this serves no one. Retrogrades are actually incredible gifts, opportunities to recover old territory in order to secure acquisitions that may still be too tedious to endeavor forward. Look to the Pisces sector of your chart to find the area of life where you can access this influence most easily. For instance, my chart holds Pisces in the 6th house, the area which concerns daily habits and a healthy lifestyle. I shared earlier some of my goals and the areas I need to be shoring up to achieve my best positive potential results!

“Movement meditations such as Tai Qi or devotional dance can be uniquely powerful to honor this energy as Jupiter in his sign Pisces, is called the Lord of the Dance.”

The retrograde comes at a most auspicious time, as the Solstice energy carries us forward into a watery Sun season. The Sun moves boldly into Cancer for the height of summer, and the energy of compassion and love is deeply stirred in our chests. Firey love affairs are not uncommon at this time of year, we’ve all heard the song Summer Love πŸ’•. There’s something passionate about Cancer, it’s able to access a uniquely vulnerable and sensual approach to romantic love. Beach bodies encourage pleasurable pastimes and water sports, playful and light hearted fun. As these two beautiful bodies form a loving trine, which perfects on June 23, we receive a heightened blast of this epic love bombing. I for one hope I can handle it!!
We can maximize this potential here in our spiritual practices and loving relationships by following the water trine prescriptives. ‘Rest and digest’.  ‘Be still and know that I am.’  Meditation and spiritual practices are going to be the most beneficial now to help us integrate the spiritual teachings we have been receiving since Jupiter entered Pisces on May 14. Moving meditations such as Tai Qi or devotional dance can be uniquely powerful to honor this energy as Jupiter in his sign Pisces is called the Lord of the Dance.  Spiritual integration may also take place in dream time, and the thrall of the afternoon siesta is not without merits this summer, go ahead and indulge, but be sure to set your intention to remember dreams or to offer your astral form up to the divine as you sleep. Do not waste these valuable REM cycles with mere snoring.

This may sound easy to accomplish, but heady Mercury will be back in direct Gemini action shortly after the Sun moves into Cancer, and we’ll be feeling the flitter of butterflies and zing of hummingbirds once again as our heads spin with possibilities of the future. Maintaining focus on spiritual practices may become a challenge in the face of this rapid mental stimulation, but the rewards will be well reaped when Jupiter makes his graceful rear exit into Aquarius, where we can begin to do damage control in the area of group dynamics and the larger collective, bringing spiritual loving juice to this especially dry saturnian Aquarius we’ve been managing since March of 2020. I personally foresee a lot more hugging and joyful reunions with loved ones who were hyper scared and isolated during the lockdown. I also predict a ton of baby making taking place until the end of the year. People are practically desperate to make those deep intimate connections and move forward with romantic encounters which were delayed due to quarantines.

Happy snogging! πŸ’‹πŸ˜‚ πŸ’ 😻❀️πŸ’₯
