With Venus on her home turf of values, desires and material worth, this sector of life is certainly stimulated. Our primary activities this season have been about revaluation of our personal habits and coming into greater behavioral integrity with our goals which we set about in Aries season. This can be about our self worth in relationship to the sacred other, or about taking care of the physical form so we can better do the work of our divine purpose.
Lilith serves as an expression of challenge and terror that our needs will not be met, that our fate is doomed, that we will never achieve the dream we’ve set our sights on. Our fears only serve to reveal our true values. What we are afraid of losing is what we most love. What we fear we’ll never gain shows us our heart’s deepest longings. Maybe we are afraid to ask for what we need, afraid that we aren’t worth what we feel we ‘should be’ in order to have our dreams come true. With these 3 colliding at this 22nd degree today, albeit briefly, the possibility of actually facing our fears in manifest form is quite real. We can run and we can hide, but ultimately the way through this scary territory is to conquer fear with bold, direct confrontation that declares a faith in something stronger than what we as mere mortals may possess.
Divinely placed, Neptune seems to have been set here precisely for God’s timing. This is the super-natural support we would request if we only knew what to ask for. Now that we see he is helping us here, we can more fully embrace this offering which will help us navigate the incredible test. Neptune, King of Dreams who helps manifest the spiritual into the real, extends his trident (the holy trinity implied herein) to bless us through this terrifying scenario.
It’s easy to listen to the self doubts that arise in the face of harsh criticism or external tribulations, but the real feat is to face the fear with faith and remember that we are held in the arms of the Divine no matter who we are, or how we’re showing up in or lives, or in the lives of others. Ultimately it’s not about getting spiritual reassurances or miraculous solutions, it’s only about finding faith.
The invitation isn’t to “take up arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them”. Mars in Cancer at 5* is in no shape to pick a fight or defend himself against the onslaught. No, for now, we rest, we take stock, we silently assess the situation. But more than mind, we need more than ever to let go of the what ifs and why nots in order to hold space for the still silent voice arising from within. Once the core of the self is rooted and connected in divine communion, we can trust that spirit’s guidance will arrive for us, both calmly and timely.
We rest in the Knowing that our path has brought us to this moment for a reckoning and that through its lessons we can emerge stronger, smarter, with a deeper sense of understanding, and above all the confirmation that our faith in the unseen hand that guides us has not been misplaced.
